Scott Haakonstad, a dedicated board member at our nonprofit, is a Service Sales Engineer with a proven track record in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry. With specialized skills in HVAC, sales, and engineering, Scott brings a unique blend of technical expertise and a passion for helping others.
For over 12 years, Scott has been devoted to the Narcotics Anonymous (NA) program, where he not only actively participates but also serves as a committed chair for weekly meetings. His dedication extends to the community as he initiated a NARANON meeting in Lee’s Summit, Mo, showcasing his commitment to providing support and healing to a wider audience.
Beyond his contributions to the recovery community, Scott is a compassionate life coach who has built a business focused on giving back and supporting others on their journey to wellness. As a devoted father to two children and two dogs, as well as the proud owner of a '67 Camaro, Scott understands the importance of family and the joy that comes with personal passions.
Scott's commitment to community service is further evident through his role on the Advisory Board at Paws & Pals, where he serves as a
mentor to youth struggling with mental illness. Making the life-changing choice to get clean and sober 12 years ago, Scott has achieved remarkable milestones in his personal and professional life. Proud of his success, he is dedicated to sharing his journey with others in need of recovery.
Embodying the principle of "One Day at a Time," Scott works tirelessly to make the 206 Hall a dedicated place of healing for addicts, their families, and loved ones. His inspiring story, coupled with his ongoing dedication to the mission, makes Scott Haakonstad an invaluable asset to our organization, contributing to the creation of a supportive and transformative community.
