Beyond his involvement with 206 Fellowship Hall, Dave boasts an ​impressive background in various domains. As a retired ​entrepreneur, he has successfully navigated the business world, ​showcasing his exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. ​Additionally, Dave has held the position of Executive Director at a ​transitional housing and women's domestic violence shelter, ​demonstrating his commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable ​individuals.

Dave's passion for community outreach is evident through his ​notable achievements. He is the founder of the Summit Summer


Lunch Program, a program that ensures children from low-income backgrounds have access to nutritious meals ​during the summer months. Furthermore, he established the 206 Fellowship Hall, a vital gathering place for individuals ​seeking recovery from addiction.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dave has served as a board member and treasurer for various foundations and ​corporations, leveraging his financial expertise to drive positive change. Currently, he is actively involved in the ​Facilities Improvement Committee and oversees day-to-day operations at 206 Hall, working tirelessly to enhance the ​organization's infrastructure and ensure smooth functioning.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dave has a deep personal connection to recovery, with 35 years of ​experience in recovery fellowships. His firsthand understanding of the challenges individuals face on the path to ​recovery allows him to provide valuable insights and support within the organization.

Dave's favorite quote, "The best help is disguised as an inconvenience," reflects his belief in the transformative power ​of stepping out of comfort zones and embracing challenges. His vision for 206 Hall is to create a welcoming space ​where individuals from all walks of life can find fellowship and support on their recovery journey. He aspires to expand ​the organization to larger facilities across different areas of the Kansas City metropolitan region, ensuring more ​individuals can benefit from its services.
